Individual Therapy for Adults 18+

Your story is unique to you, and your journey in therapy should be too.

Starting therapy can feel daunting, so we always begin at a gentle pace that feels right for you.

It is completely normal to feel a bit uncomfortable talking to a stranger, or to feel unsure of where to even begin.

This could be unfamiliar territory, and there is never any pressure to share more than you are ready to.

Initial Stage of Therapy

In our early sessions, we will take time to explore what brought you to therapy, alongside broader aspects of your life—such as your family history, relationships, culture, spirituality, and social experiences. Building a foundation of trust, safety, and a non-judgmental space is our first priority.

What our sessions may look like: Personalised Care Collaboration

  • Emotion-focused therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

And frameworks:

  • Developmental attachment styles

  • Culturally informed care

  • Neuroaffirming support

  • Psychoeducation and skills-based support

  • Strength-based practice
