Work with Me

Let's connect and explore what your therapeutic experience could be

Culturally Safe Therapy

Being a child of immigrant parents, I recognise the important of being able to access culturally aware and responsive quality care. These are our core values at Prana Therapy Co. Understanding the socio-political context of cultural safety and the mental health system's history, I feel a deep responsibility to actively advocate for my clients and challenge oppressive, colonised foundations in our field. I believe cultural safety is deeply personal, so I approach our therapeutic relationship with open ears and a genuine curiosity to understand your unique meaning, needs, and values through your own cultural lens. My practice and continuous learning are centered on respecting the diverse ways individuals experience healing and growth.

Work With Me

My practice embraces an integrative, person-centered approach, seeing you as a whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I carefully select and combine techniques from various evidence-based modalities to create a flexible and precise framework tailored to your unique needs and complexities.

I recognize that trauma profoundly impacts every part of us. Because of this, our work often unfolds over a longer term, allowing us to safely and gently explore developmental patterns and beliefs at a comfortable pace. Therapy is a dynamic journey, moving through moments of discomfort, avoidance, and pain, as well as lightness, insight, vulnerability, joy, and relief.

Building a strong therapeutic relationship also takes time. Like any human connection, there might be misunderstandings, times I miss something, or even small ruptures in our connection. These are all normal parts of being human. I'm committed to addressing these moments directly, acknowledging them openly, and creating a safe space where we can collaboratively discuss conflicts and work towards reconnecting.
